Register Now! Spring Into Creativity: A Youth Upcycled Art Competition
 
Calling student artists!
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) invites students to join us for this year’s Spring Into Creativity: A Youth Upcycled Art Competition in March during National Youth Art Month. Registration is open until Friday, February 28, 2025, for students in grades K-12.
 
This year’s challenge is to transform found items from around the house or nature into something new. Let your imagination run wild!
 
At the end of March, students will have the opportunity to exhibit their hard work at the Southeast Steuben County Library, the Steele Memorial Library, or only online.
Voting this year will be conducted by a panel of judges. Photos of your student’s projects MUST be provided to be considered for voting. First, second, and third place winners in categories K-6 and 7-12 will be announced via email and social media. Winners will receive a prize to continue their artistic journey!
 
Dates:
- February 28: Registration deadline.
- March 28: Final project photos are due to Casey at casey@eARTS.org for voting and the online exhibit.
- April 1-6: Exhibit drop off at the Southeast Steuben County Library
- April 1-6: Exhibit drop off at Steele Memorial Library.
- April 9-May 2: Library exhibit dates.
- May 2: Winners announced via email, Facebook, and Instagram
