Radisson Launches Lunch
Radisson Corning’s new dynamic duo of Executive Chef Bill Winnie and Food & Beverage Director Will Bradley is elevating the guest experience as the hotel prepares to transition to a Hilton-branded property later this year. The dedicated culinary team at Radisson Corning is proud to be expanding the food and beverage program with the launch of daily lunch service at its signature restaurants, Grill 1-2-5 and Market Street Social (outside). Located in the heart of the Gaffer District, the hotel will start serving lunch seven days a week beginning July 3rd from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
Highlighted by locally sourced ingredients from the Finger Lakes region, Chef Bill has introduced a contemporary American, farm-driven lunch menu ideal for social gatherings, business meetings, and everything in between. Along with an extensive beer and wine list meticulously curated to compliment recipes, lunch offerings include a selection of soups, starters, sandwiches and wraps, and salads along with children’s favorites. The menu is both approachable and affordable, with items ranging from only $7 to $19. House specialties include a Pride of New York cheese board state with hand-made daily accoutrements, a ½ pound Angus burger on a fresh brioche bun, a signature Reuben with sliced corned beef lathered in Swiss, and a seasonal strawberry almond salad with blueberries, chevre cheese, and strawberry champagne vinaigrette. Reservations are encouraged by contacting the restaurant directly at 607.962.5000 ext 127.
Other current food and beverage events include:
S’mores and Beer
Located between the Radisson’s north and south buildings directly on the Market Street ped walk, Market Street Social invites families and couples alike to get whimsical around its cozy firepits with the introduction of new DIY S’mores on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays launching July 1st through fall while the weather holds. For $8, guests will receive a special kit they can use to roast marshmallows over Market Street Social’s firepits and assemble gourmet S’mores themselves. For an additional $25, they can pair their custom S’mores to an ice-cold bucket of six beers.
All-American Cookouts
Radisson’s stylish Market Street Social offers alfresco dining, craft cocktails, and firepits Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4 pm to 10 pm and Sundays until 9 pm. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Chef Bill features his All-American Cookouts, where he personally mans the outdoor BBQ grill and cooks up juicy cheeseburgers, Italian sausages, and chicken skewers from 5 pm to 9 pm in addition to offering his full dinner menu from the kitchen (except on Sundays, when it’s the Cookout menu only).
