Poets In Play featuring Casey Winston

The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council), in partnership with Foothill Publishing, invites you to Poets in Play featuring Casey Winston on Tuesday, March 11, from 7-9pm.

Join us at The ARTS Council, 79 W Market St. in Corning, NY, or on Zoom for Casey's reading and an open mic opportunity. Poets are encouraged to read a poem based on Casey’s prompt or something of their own selection. Prompt and zoom information are below.

About Casey: Casey Winston is the programs and outreach manager at The ARTS Council and rediscovered her love of poetry through this poetry program. With Michael Czarnecki’s encouragement, she picked up her pen and began writing poetry again in 2016, working on her wordsmith skills for 5 years before finally reading a poem out loud in 2021. Now Casey is thrilled that her first featured reading coincides with the release of her first chapbook printed by Foothills Publishing, On Being… and is excited to share it with this community that has supported her poetry journey over the last 10 years.
