Connected by Glass: Designers Who Shape Steuben
Synonymous with “crystal clear,” Steuben has been a cornerstone of American design since 1903. From extensive art pieces to delicate hand coolers, sleek barware, holiday ornaments and everything in between, pieces of Steuben have graced homes and been central to special occasions for decades.
And behind each intricate design is a talented artisan shaping the brand during every new era. We rarely see those who are behind these famed pieces, but we‘re pulling back the curtain for an exclusive discussion with a few of Steuben’s most well-known designers. What goes into their process? What are their inspirations? What makes the Steuben brand timeless? How do they embody Steuben’s commitment to exceptional quality?
We’ll be joined by designers Eric Hilton and Taf Lebel Schaefer, alongside Steuben Business Manager Steve Bender.
The conversation will be moderated by Rob Cassetti, Senior Director of Creative Strategy and Visitor Engagement at The Corning Museum of Glass and former Design Director of Steuben.
