Community Workshop with Midori
UN Messenger of Peace, Midori, Engages OSFL and Community Leaders
World-renowned violinist, Midori, returns to hold one more virtual workshop for the greater Corning-Elmira region.
This workshop, geared towards community engagement, will begin with a 20-minute presentation by Midori to discuss her various global humanitarian and education efforts as a UN Messenger of Peace. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion. Leaders and community members are invited to participate in this workshop with OSFL Maestro Toshiyuki Shimada, OSFL musicians, Youth Orchestra students, and members of the Board of Directors.
This workshop is sponsored locally by the Corning Foundation, Hilliard Corporation, the Corning Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce, the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, and the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc.
