Spring Into Creativity
Calling student artists!
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) invites students to join us for this year’s Spring Into Creativity: A Youth Upcycled Art Competition in March during National Youth Art Month. Registration is open until Friday, February 23, 2024, for students in grades K-12.
This year’s challenge is to take found items from around the house or nature and transform them into something new. Let your imagination run wild!
At the end of March, students will have the chance to exhibit their hard work at either the Southeast Steuben County Library or The Steele Memorial Library AND online.
Voting this year will be conducted by a panel of judges. Photos of your student’s projects MUST be provided to be considered for voting. First, second, and third place winners in categories K-6 and 7-12 will be announced via email and social media. Winners will receive a prize to continue their artistic journey!
