Poets In Play featuring John Burroughs

The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) invites you to Poets in Play featuring John Burroughs on Tuesday, September 10, from 7-9pm.
 

Join us at The ARTS Council or on Zoom for John's reading and an open mic opportunity. Poets are encouraged to read a poem based on John's prompt or something of their own selection. Prompt and zoom information are below.

Prompt: “Imbibe life. // Hold on, let go, / embrace more than one medium. // See life as a hallucination, / with or without drugs. // Realize the hallucination is real.”

About John: John Burroughs of Cleveland is a recent U.S. National Beat Poet Laureate and the author of books including, most recently, The Wrest of the Worthwhile and Rattle and Numb.
